A 5th team interested in Rudy Gobert?

Rumors surrounding a potential trade of Rudy Gobert intensifies. In recent weeks, we learned that Bulls, Raptors, Mavericks and Hawks would be announced. According Kevin O’Connor (The Ringer), we could add a 5th team to the list: the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The latter would be part of their interest for the Frenchman (as well as Clint Capelaas had already been reported here) in a desire to associate it with Karl Anthony Towns.Donovan Mitchell would be the one player Utah wouldn’t be willing to talk about. The Wolves would have simply gone in search of a pivot to improve their racket.

Gobert is under contract with the Jazz through 2024-25 (plus a $46.6 million 2025-26 player option), so he’ll have to work on a big package for the team trying to get him back.
