a giant handball tournament took place during the Grand Stade day

This fifth edition brought together 11 primary school groups from the Nord Dordogne for a giant handball tournament. The event brought together 570 children from Cycle 3 and 110 students from Cycle 2, spread over 11 schools.

Three themes were on the program: first aid, the environment and planet handball.

The first aid workshop, provided by volunteer firefighters from the Thiberian branch, focused on good attitudes that help to help others.

The theme of the environment was provided by the Chamber of Agriculture, through workshops on recognizing seeds by taste, touch and smell. The fishing club of La Gaule thibérienne has made children aware of aquatic biodiversity.

Planète handball emphasized respect for the Olympic values, such as sportsmanship or fair play to be adopted and the importance of the notion of health through sport.

The day was a success for Emmanuelle Puivif Vigier, spokesperson for the co-organizing club and its president David Pipet, as well as for all the volunteers. More information on the site cepeverthandball.wordpress.com.
