A tennis tournament still busy

To get the summer season off to a good start, Espérance ceyratoise tennis (ECT) offered a series of multi-chance tournaments (TMC) for young people and adults, from June 25 to July 10, organized by the club’s two instructors, Jean-Claude Godart and Joris Esteve.

For more than two weeks, the red, orange, green and yellow TMCs allowed young people of all clubs, of all ages and all levels to frequent the courts of the ECT over one or two days depending on the format and the number of registrants.

The Adult Fourth Series had the opportunity to contest two TMCs over two days and the Adult Third Series met on one TMC.

This playful and sporting formula allows players to play their matches in a short format and to play with less pressure, since whatever the result of the match they are certain to play again three or four times, depending on the number of registered players.

Nearly 200 players therefore played their matches in a friendly atmosphere, with permanent sunshine.

The next sporting event will take place from September 3 to 18 with the club’s Open Tournament.

The registration days for the tennis school and the adults will take place on Saturday 3 and 10 September, from 9 am to 12 pm, at the club house.

Practice. Registrations for the club’s Open Tournament in September are already open on Ten’up or at the club’s email address: [email protected] or at (answering machine).
