Australia recalls Hodge, Care starting scrum England side

The Sydney Cricket Ground will be full to the brim and Hodge’s boot could prove decisive on the day of his 55th cap with the Wallabies. He also owes his return to the injuries of Tom Banks, Jordan Petaia and Andrew Kellaway, who could not even be part of the 36 selected base.

Dave Rennie has also decided to place Tom Wright and the powerful Marika Koroibete on the wings, and to form a very solid third line with Harry Wilson, captain Michael Hooper and Rob Valetini in No8, because Cadeyrn Neville is also injured.

On the front line, the pillar James Slipper, 112 selections, replaces Angus Bell and will be associated with David Porecki as a hooker and Taniela Tupou on the other side. Australia had won the first test in Perth (30-28) then England replied with a victory won in Brisbane (25-17).
