In pre-national, the Pays d’Auge Basket did not win, but the evening is rather to be stored in the good outings. Indeed, this Saturday, September 24, 2022, Thomas Quentel’s men, with a largely renewed workforce, pushed Hérouville, the championship favorite, to extra time (61-61) before finally having to bow on the score from 67 to 75.
In Regional 2, the evening was more difficult for Orbec beaten 93 to 65 in Tourlaville. Now, the Orbecquois have done more than resist Tourlaville, one of the championship favorites with a small point behind (46-45) at the break. In the second period, the match was more complicated for Matthieu Auzoux’s men who therefore fell 93 to 65.
In Regional 3, the clubs of the Pays d’Auge were a big hit. Thus, the Pays d’Auge Basket reserve, as a curtain lever for its flag team, dominated its counterpart from Alençon 73-63. CA Lisieux then won against Saint-Lô very largely 78 to 48. Finally, Cabourg pocketed a precious success against Cherbourg, in a damp gymnasium, with a score of 90 to 79.
