CAN handball: Thanks to its double victory against Cameroon and Nigeria, Gabon finished 9th and won the Dr Mansourou Aremou Cup, as well as its ticket for CAN 2023

This Sunday, July 17, the Panthers won against in Nigeria, after having done the same the day before against Cameroon, concluding in a much better way than it had started this CAN 2022 handball in Egypt.

This weekend, the classification matches going from 9th to 12th place were played in Cairo.

Gabon, which had done poorly in qualifying for the finals with two successive defeats against Guinea and Algeria, won all of its matches.

After winning Saturday against Cameroon 33 to 29, the Panthers emerged victorious from their confrontation against Nigeria.

Result: Gabon finishes to the 9th place of the of this CAN handball 2022 and wins the Cup of Dr. Mansourou Adoumou.

The icing on the cake: the Panthers are qualified for the next CAN which will be played in 2023.
