The draw for the FIBA Europe Cup has taken place. Cholet will face Besiktas Istanbul in the semi-finals of the FIBA Europe Cup preliminary round.
Forced to go through FIBA Europe Cup qualifying, Cholet will only have to play two matches to qualify for the main round of the competition. A first paid match for the qualifying semi-finals which looks like a main round with Besiktas Istanbul to start for Laurent Vila’s men.
If the Mauges club passes this stage, it should be opposed to Leiden (Netherlands), Jamtland (Sweden) or Czarni Slupsk (Poland) for a final match which would validate its participation in the FIBA Europe Cup and should be sent to Pool E made up of Malaga (Spain), Oradea (Romania) and Mechelen (Belgium). Verdict of September 27 for Cholet.
Lots of great teams, but only 4️⃣ places in the #FIBAEuropeCup Regular season.
