A great wine lover, the leader of the Phoenix Suns Chris Paul (37 years old) launches into the rosé of Provence.
NBA star and friend of Tony Parker – who recently invested in the vineyard – Chris Paul is preparing to follow the same path. The American international has invested in a rosé from Provence, Château Saint-Maur de Cogolin. Advised by TP, CP3 explained his choice to Var Matin. He bet on an AOP Côtes de Provence, from an exceptional terroir of the appellation.
“I’m a big wine lover, Donae (Editor’s note: Burston, visionary entrepreneur whose goal is to make rosé the best-selling wine on the US market) pretended to me with his knowledge and his will to want to democratize the consumption of rosé from Provence to a wider audience from minorities. We are both very involved in this cause which of course has no place among the French for whom rosé is obvious, where for us it can be “intimidating”, because it is considered a luxury product”
Chris Paul, who is currently living in the south of France and will begin his 18th NBA season in the fall, also credited the local newspaper with his desire to one day own a professional basketball team.
“Like Tony, I would like to have my professional basketball team. Having been president of the players’ union for eight years allowed me to learn all the ins and outs of business in the NBA. So I’m ready. »
