Drouais table tennis returns to regional

Drouais table tennis players have since had a new president. Already with good results.

Julien Lherault took stock of his first year as president of the ADVTT, (Agglo Dreux-Vernouillet Table Tennis) with Dominique Couvreur who remained at the head of the club from 2008 to 2021.

The latter received the departmental merit for his table tennis activity. Before arriving in Eure-et-Loir in 2004, he remained president of the Beynes club (Yvelines) for 15 years.

Increase in staff

He still holds his place at the table, in the V4 category, with a bronze medal, during the departmentals. Julien Lherault specifies that Dominique Couvreur is at the origin of the first Dreux-Vernouillet merger, in 2015.

The current president is pleased to continue the action of his predecessor: “Of the 4 teams involved, all have moved up a level. Special mention for the premiere; since it finds its place in regional 3. “Other good news: The club was rewarded at the level of arbitration, thanks to Jean-Yves Gallard.

Julien Lherault is also pleased with the increase in staff: “With 51 members, or 14 more, we find a good workforce. Only small downside: women are only seven in number (14% of the workforce). The club remains open until Wednesday July 27 (Monday and Wednesday from 6 p.m.). The start of the school year will take place on Wednesday August 17, to prepare for the season and the forum of associations on September 3 in Dreux.
