In Saint-Germain-les-Corbeil (Essonne), the hotel located at Pointe Ringale, very close to the Francilienne, is now a establishment from Logis Hotels group, the leading group of independent hoteliers-restaurateurs in Europe. A new identity which should allow him to boost its business.

“It is very interesting that the Cit’Hotel has a foothold here. It participates in the economic development of this area,” said Yann Pétel, the mayor of the city, on the day of the inauguration.
With 67 rooms, the hotel is particularly popular with golf-loving tourists who go there on weekends, thanks to its proximity to six different courses.
A brand change that offers more freedom
Beyond the visual identity, the manager ensures that the change of brand offers more freedom.
With Ibis Budget everything is standardized with many standards to be respected in common with all the brand’s establishments around the world. Cit’Hotel allows you to be more creative and to offer more than just accommodation.
“For example, just for breakfast, we can now offer more products to customers and include products from the region, which was not the case before,” adds Mialy Razafindrazara, the hotel manager.
Upheavals caused by the Covid-19 pandemic
The two leaders have thus added a room rental offer, catering and the possibility of organizing trade fairs or weddings in the marquee adjoining the establishment.
One way to respond to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic which continues to affect the entire hotel sector.
“With the development of telework, we welcome fewer employees during the week. From now on, there are essentially people who work in professions where remote working is not possible, such as the construction sector, ”notes Alfred Andriamasy.
Aparthotels will be created
To promote his establishment and attract new customers, the manager has also planned to carry out work to create aparthotels. He hopes to get good feedback from customers.
We are very dependent on online platforms like Boobking.com which represent 90% of our bookings. The opinions left by customers are therefore very important and we have noticed that beyond the price, they are above all attentive to practicality, quality and comfort.
The establishment hopes to finally obtain its third star soon.
