Mamadou Wora Dia has just joined Strasbourg Schiltigheim Eurometropolis Handball (SEHB), in French D2. The 32-year-old Gabonese international and right-back played last season in Al Thuqbah, Saudi Arabia, and will therefore have his first experience in Europe.

Playing in Saudi Arabia last season, Mamadou Wora Dia decided to change scenery. Currently at the 25th African Nations Championship (Can) in handball, the 32-year-old Gabonese international has just joined Strasbourg Schiltigheim Eurometropolis Handball (SEHB), in French D2.

“The SEHB is proud to announce its 5th summer recruit! This is the right-back, Gabonese international, Mamadou Wora Dia! “With more than 30 international competitions to his credit, Dia will bring all his experience to a young group. We can’t wait to see it in action! Welcome to Alsace Dia”, the club announced on its official website. Playing in D2 since the 2018-2019 season, the club aims to find the elite of French handball.

The right-back is the 5th recruit of L’EuroMétro. He replaces numerically Clément Damiani, who left for Bordeaux (French D2). Mamadou Wora played last season in Al Thuqbah, Saudi Arabia, and will therefore have his first experience in Europe.
