Tunisia will be the second opponent of the Red Wolves at the 2023 Handball World Cup organized from January 12 to 29 in Sweden and Poland. It brought together 32 teams presented in eight groups of four.
The draw on July 2 in Katowice designated Denmark, Bahrain and the team ranked 4th in the African qualifying tournament in Group H played in Malmö. The tournament ends on Monday. Belgium will start their tournament against Denmark, double defending champions, on January 13 (8:30 p.m.). Tunisia will face it on January 15 (8:30 p.m.). Bahrain, five times vice-champion of Asia, will be the ultimate opponent on January 17 at 8:30 p.m. The top three qualify for the next round, which consists of a new group stage.
