FANSEAT (Spring Media group’s OTT platform dedicated to sport) and Infront, exclusive media and marketing partner of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IHFG), have reached an agreement to broadcast all matches of the World Ice Hockey Championship Ice cream, live and on demand for fans in France.

Once again, FANSEAT has entered into a landmark media rights deal to add to its ice hockey content portfolio, following the acquisition of the rights for the Champions Hockey League for the 2021-2022 season. FANSEAT will broadcast all 64 matches of the Ice Hockey World Championship live and on demand on its OTT platform (www.fanseat.com), in addition to its very wide content offer which includes more than 2,000 season hockey matches ranging from the Champions Hockey League, the French Leagues (Synerglace each Magnus League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, U20, U17) , the Czech league (Tipsport Extraliga), the Latvian league (Optibet Hokeja Liga) to the British league (Premier Sports Elite League).

French ice hockey fans will be eager to follow the matches of Les Bleus, who will be in Group A alongside world No. 1 ranked team Canada, their neighbors Germany, Italy, Switzerland as well as Denmark, Kazakhstan and Slovakia. The Blues will play Canada in their final group stage match, which will no doubt grab everyone’s attention, but will have 6 more fixtures to play before then, with their campaign starting on May 13 in Helsinki against Slovakia.
