Ice hockey: Mottet extends his contract with Fribourg-Gottéron until 2027

While his contract with Fribourg-Gottéron expired in 2023, Killian Mottet (31) returned for four more years with his training club, i.e. until 2027, the Friborg club announced on Tuesday.

The Friborg striker has just completed two seasons of fire from a statistical championship point of view: regular and play-off included, he obtained 50 points in 55 matches (including 25 goals) during the 2020-2021 financial year and 53 units in 58 matches (including 23 goals) last season.

Mottet played 513 top-flight games with Gottéron (302 points) and 179 LNB games (Sierre, Ajoie and Lausanne).

The Dragons striker participated in the Olympic Games in February in Beijing (one goal) but was not selected for the last World Championship in Finland last May.
