Le Guénin Pluméliau Handball at the feast of Saint-Jean on July 2 – Guénin

The Guénin-Pluméliau Handball club met on Friday evening to take stock of the year, a good season according to the leaders. With its 104 licensees, the club had granted the free license this year following the covid. The two co-presidents, Kilian Guégan and Corentin Guégan, recalled the events of the 2021-2022 season. “We have a handball school with 20 players aged 6 to 10. Two teams under 11, one mixed and one female, one team under 13, two senior men’s teams, one of which is territorial, and two women’s teams, one of which is regional excellence. On the other hand, our balance sheet is balanced”. Senior women’s coach Alain Duclos leaves the club. A call is launched to replace him.

In the club’s agenda, we will note the handball tournament for primary school students from Pluméliau and Guénin schools on June 23 and 24. “Then, we take part in the Saint-Jean festival at the Pluméliau pond on Saturday July 2, there will be a shuffleboard tournament, catering and a refreshment bar, and a very beautiful fireworks display, followed by ‘a fest-noz with Kastelodenn and Kelt ah Breizh’. Finally, the club will offer pieces of paella to take away on October 22.
