After spending the last six seasons in Switzerland, first in Lausanne then in Bern, the striker Dustin Jeffrey take the road to Germany for the rest of his career. The 34-year-old Canadian has signed a contract with the Wolfsburg Grizzlys club in DEL. Aged 34, Jeffrey will therefore have played 264 games in Switzerland for 239 points. He added 23 points in 25 playoff games.
“We are of course very happy that Dustin has chosen to join us. His playmaking qualities are indisputable. Dustin is a very talented center who knows how to use his teammates very well, but who also knows himself exactly where the goal. For the first time in his career, an injury kept him away from the pitch for a good three months. Finally, he was able to finish the season in Bern without restrictions. His career so far is very impressive and he has really want to leave your mark with the Grizzlys“said Grizzlys athletic director and manager Karl-Heinz Fliegauf.
Note that the former EHC Bienne striker, Mikes Indrasis would also be close to joining the Grizzlys team.
