The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed former Washington Capitals goaltender to a one-year contract. There are Samsonov. The Russian, who hadn’t received an offer from the Capitals, will earn a salary of USD 1.8 million. He will assist Mast Murray who arrived in Toronto yesterday following an exchange. Samsonov’s arrival coincides with the departure of Jack Campbell who signed up for 5 seasons (5 million USD) with the Edmonton Oilers.
