Guy Rosine, vice-president of Table Tennis Kemperle, died on the night of Thursday July 14 to Friday July 15, at the age of 79. Originally from Guyana, he was transferred to La Poste de Quimperlé in 1974. He was one of the precursors of table tennis in the city of three rivers. He first played in the corporate championship, before joining the USQ section which gave birth to Kemperle Table Tennis in 1994. At the club, he supervised several generations of young people, while also being one of the pillars of the team championships.
Recognized for his kindness and his availability to the young people of the sports association, Guy Rosine had been honored, in 2020, by the municipality by receiving the Sports Medal from the city of Quimperlé.
Guy Rosine’s funeral will take place on Thursday July 21, at 11:30 a.m., at the Kerlétu funeral center in Lorient.
