It was the turn of the basketball section of UA Laloubère to receive in recent days the visit of the departmental advisers of Moyen Adour, Geneviève Quertaimont and Jean-Michel Ségneré.
Received by Michel Agon, president of the basketball club, supported by Raphaël Servant and Maiko Feig, members of the office of the Lalouberian association, the two elected officials were presented with the organization of the canton’s flagship women’s club, with more than 210 licensees (a record for the UAL this season!) and holder of the “3-star female trainer club” label issued by the French Basketball Federation.
The various lines of work and the projects for the coming months were also on the agenda of this friendly first contact. Jean-Michel Ségnéré and Geneviève Quertaimont (the latter being also assistant to the town hall of Laloubère), took the opportunity to advise club officials on the various support systems that the club could benefit from, trainer in particular of high-level athletes .
It is also with an envelope from the FAC (Cantonal Animation Fund, intended to help clubs and associations organizing events) that the two elected officials came to meet the Lalouberian leaders, thus granting them an envelope of 250 € in order to organize a 3×3 tournament set up by Florian Roquain, a young BPJEPS apprentice within the club, sum enhanced with an endowment of around €300 in goodies to reward the various participants in this tournament.
