Pivot Vince Hunter leaves Boulogne-Levallois for Kazan

Deprived of the European Cup despite his third place during the regular season of Betclic Élite, Boulogne-Levallois will not find Vince Hunter at the start of the school year. The American pivot (27 years old, 2.03 m) signed up for two years, including an optional year, at Unics Kazan, which played in the Euroleague last season before the exclusion of Russian clubs.

Arrived last summer in the workforce of the Metropolitans, Hunter had carried out an exercise brought back under the leadership of Vincent Collet. The former Virtus Bologna player posted averages of 12.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in Betclic Elite and 12.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in Eurocup. His departure is in addition to those of David Michineau (Naples) and Miralem Halilovic (Nanterre) while Victor Wembanyama will join the Ile-de-France club.
