RC Vannes is committed to amateur clubs

RC Vannes, resident of Pro D2, will organize a “Breizh Rugby Tour” from the start of the 2022/2023 season.

RC Vannes continues to prepare for its season. Back in training this week, the Morbihan club is ramping up for the next Pro D2 exercise. But in addition to the sporting aspect, the team has announced a new event that will take place from September: the Breizh Rugby Tour.

A unique encounter

Thus, in collaboration with the Breton Poultry Society, the RC Vannes organizes a program of entertainment. The goal is to “federate as many Breton rugby clubs as possible. » In this context, professional players, hopefuls and staff will travel to meet partner amateur clubs. The aim is to provide them with a “privileged moment” with the members of the RCV. This concerns children from 6 to 10 years old. They could therefore exchange with the professional players, and even follow a training coached by these players. Prizes will also be offered to club participants.

“RC Vannes is also a creator of social ties”

Thus, as announced in the club press release, President Olivier Cloarec welcomes the organization of such an event. “We are very pleased with the launch of this action carried out jointly with our partner, the Société Bretonne de Volaille. In addition to the sporting aspect, which we occupy daily, the Rugby Club of Vannes is also a creator of social ties. The Breizh Rugby Tour is the concrete expression of our desire to generate links and bring together as many Breton clubs as possible by helping development and practice throughout the territory. he says.

The first stage of this Breizh Tour will take place in Quimper, next September. Visits to Lorient, Saint-Brieuc, Saint Malo, Concarneau, Auray, Grand-Champ, Plouzané, Plabennec, Dinan, Le Rheu, Sérent, and Elven are also planned. Four meetings by a place on the four departments of Brittany.
