The year is really good for French rugby. As can be seen from the official documents of the French State, Fabien Galthie and Annick Hayraud were elevated to the rank of Knight of the Legion of Honour.

It is mentioned for Fabien (Pierre) Galthié, former international rugby player (64 selections), coach of the French men’s rugby union team, 29 years of service. Regarding Annick (Marie-Noëlle) Hayraud, former international rugby player (65 selections), manager of the XV of the French women’s rugby union team, it was created for her 37 years of service.

Coach of the Blues since 2020, Fabien Galthié, in the company of an ultra-efficient staff, has given color to a moribund XV of France after the 2019 World Cup.

This July 14, the captain of the XV of France and best player in the world 2021, Antoine Dupont, had the privilege of opening the parade alongside the Patrouille de France, aboard an Alpha Jet from the squadron. “I’m not in my favorite environment. But yesterday (Wednesday, editor’s note), I passed all the medical tests, and we were able to have a little fun with a few spins. This Thursday, it should be quieter and I will be able to enjoy the landscape, ”said TF1 Super Dupont before boarding the flight.

Antoine Dupont was not the only player in the world of rugby to take part in the parade: Jade Le Pesq, captain of the France Women’s 7-a-side team, was also present in a delegation highlighted for the Games. Paris Olympics 2024.
