Rugby: the MCS in working order

Last Friday at the end of the afternoon, the board of directors of MCS Rugby, met in order to elect the office, which will watch over the destinies of the “red and black” for the coming season. This Board of Directors, which recorded with regret the resignations of outgoing President Joël Carbonneau and Hermine Sirgant, who must be thanked for the work carried out, currently has twenty-one members, since in addition to the nineteen elected re-elected at the last General Assembly two newcomers Delphine Garuz and Damien Morte wished to join the group of leaders. As stated in the statutes, they were co-opted and therefore joined the club’s Board of Directors for the 2022-2023 season.

The office was then elected: co-presidents: Joël Ponsolle and Sylvain Roujas.

Vice-president: Daniel Ribère.

Secretary: Véronique Parenti. Assistant: Denis Canut.

Treasurer: Sandra Serrano.

Members of the Board of Directors: Ms: Joëlle Gaillard; Christine Galin; Delphine Garuz; Elodie Houlle; Nicole Magnet-Udave; Roselyne Pugibet. Ms: Clement Auriol; Christian Betpouey; Didier Dupuy; Patrick Estaque; Thomas Martin; Damien Morte; Jean-Luc Serrano; Philippe Souquet; Eric Tribout.

This board of directors will meet soon, to set up the various commissions, which will get to work, so that the MCS is quickly in working order.

On the sporting level: Joël Marcel and Vincent Ribère will be in charge of the “A” team, at the level of the “B” formation, Sébastien Abadie and Aurélien Gardelle will continue the adventure. Mathieu Galey and Sébastien Rougemaille wishing for their part to breathe a little. Once again thank you to them for their investment during the last season, with the results that we know. The large MCS family hopes to see them again very soon at the Stade de Bouque de Lens.

The resumption of training has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 19.
