South Africa dominates Wales (30-14) to win the test series

Cape Town (AFP) – South Africa, surprised by Wales in the second test match (12-13) last week, regained its power in Cape Town on Saturday, dominating with authority (30-14) the too undisciplined Welsh, to win the series between the two nations.

Siya Kolisi’s teammates, who narrowly won the first test match (32-29), save the honor of the southern nations after the victories of Ireland and England in New Zealand and Australia, and before the evening meeting between Argentina and Scotland.

The score could have been much wider for the Springboks, with referee Matthew Carley denying the reigning world champions three tries.

After the cold shower conceded to Bloemfontein, coach Jacques Nienaber had chosen to keep five indisputable holders – Handre Pollard, Jaden Hendrikse, Trevor Nyakane, Eben Etzebeth and Pieter-Steph du Toit – and to recall his executives: Cheslin Kolbe, Makazole Mapimpi, Lukhanyo Am, Damian de Allende and team captain Siya Kolisi.

With their typical team, the South Africans have developed their rugby without ever really being worried by Wales, especially finding what had been their strength during the World Cup-2019.
