International playmaker Andrew Albicy (1.78m, 32) is extending his stay at Gran Canaria for two more seasons.
Andrew Albicy landed in Gran Canaria two seasons ago from Zenit Saint Petersburg. During this period, he played a total of 95 games with the yellow jersey, being a fundamental pillar in the lead. With him on the pitch this past season, Gran Canaria have won 62% of the games in the Endesa League regular phase.
His individual stats in the domestic competition were 5.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1 steal per game. In Eurocup, he increased his numbers to 6.8 points, 6.2 assists and 1.8 steals, which made him the best in the competition in this category.
