The Retournac tennis tournament ended on Sunday with the finals of the men’s and women’s tables.
The finals had been postponed at the end of the day to avoid the heat. In Retournac, the men’s tournament was won by Jacques Torrilhon against Mathéo Rouchouse.
Winner at Brives-Charensac and finalist at Coubon, the TC Vals player, based in Saint-Paulien, won his first title at Retournac. A town he knows well for coming every Wednesday to the weekly market where he runs the Salaisons Torrilhon stand in Craponne.
Facing him, Mathéo Rouchouse, of TC Monistrol, had passed two laps and had qualified for the final after the withdrawal of the number one seed, Arthur Pellin, in difficulty with a wrist.

The Colombian, licensed in Puy-de-Dôme in Lempdes and came by train to Retournac, offers herself this 2022 edition in which 115 players participated, including 18 from 12 to 20 years old.
