Tennis, WTA – Hamburg Tournament 2022: Peterson dismisses Baindl

Sweden’s Rebecca Peterson won the second round of the Hamburg tournament, clearly dominating Ukrainian lucky loser Kateryna Baindl (6-3, 6-0) at Am Rothenbaum in Hamburg on Monday morning.

Peterson, the 93rd ranked player in the WTA, will face the winner of the upcoming match between Estonian Anett Kontaveit, seeded No. 1, and Romania’s Irina Bara in the second round of the Hamburg tournament.
