The energetic Chris Coffey completes the recruitment of ADA Blois

Promoted to Betclic Elite, Blois completes its recruitment with the arrival of a young American interior from Germany: Chris Coffey.

Cataloged as a player with three lungs, Chris Coffey (2.01 m, 25 years old) should in principle relieve the racket of the promoted Blois alongside Tyren Johnson. After two seasons in Europe in Latvia then in Germany, the 4-5 position will discover the Betclic Elite.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, the American got into the basket late, at the age of 16, passing through the NAIA university circuit, like one of his models, Dennis Rodman, notably determining player of the year 2020 .

Already successful in the Baltic league, he was also successful this year in the German first division with the Syntainics of Weissenfeld (9.4 points and 6.9 rebounds on average) before a calf injury which ended his season in January last.

Julien Monclar, director of operations at ADA Blois: “Chris is a player who stands out above all for his engine, he has an absolutely enormous energy which is shown in particular on the rebound and in the races. He still has room for improvement on the offensive game, especially his shot, but it evolves season after season because he is also a huge hard worker. »
