The future of women’s tennis in Contamines-Montjoie

From July 17 to 24, the Pays du Mont-Blanc resort is hosting the 24th edition of the International Women’s Tennis Open. A tournament whose creation by Patrice Dominguez dates back to 1997. For the general public, it is an opportunity to discover the new talents of the little yellow ball and perhaps to spot the next generation of today’s champions.

Marion Bartoli, Caroline Garcia and Alizé Cornet participated in their youth at the Open des Contamines which is part of the ITF Women’s Pro Circuit paid for more than 20 tournaments in France.

This year, about sixty of them from 17 countries will challenge each other on the Patrice Dominguez courts of the Pontet leisure park for an endowment of 18,000 dollars. 70 matches are scheduled during the week. Free access.
