top 10 selected for men, Monfils returns to the top 20

Russian Daniil Medvedev still leads the ATP rankings on Monday, ahead of German Alexander Zverev and Spaniard Rafael Nadal for a preferred podium. We have to wait for 18th place, now occupied by the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov who gains a place compared to the previous week, to see the first movement take place.

The American-French Maxime Cressy, winner Sunday in Newport in the United States of his first tournament on the circuit at 25, progresses eight ranks and now occupies 33rd place, the best of his career. Another American distinguished himself by gaining ten places to appear in 85th place: Steve Johnson.

The United States now has the largest contingent of players in the Top 100, featuring 13 of their representatives. Gaël Monfils, who remains the French N.1, returns to the Top 20 (20th). Nothing is still going well for Benoît Paire, however, who tumbles 13 places and finds himself 92nd in the world, close to leaving the Top 100, of which he has been a part continuously since March 9, 2015.
