American scorer Keandre Cook (1.96m, 25) arrives from Hungary to complete the back line of ADA Blois.
The promoted has sealed off his outside sector. Following the arrival of point guard Jaime Smith, the ADA announced the signing of fullback Keandre Cook. After being trained in the United States between the University of Odessa and that of Missouri State, the American played a season in the G-League (8 minutes on average) before landing this season in Europe.
The Baltimore native was touring with Hungarian club Szedeak – where he teamed up with neo-Chalonnais Tayler Persons – on 15.7 points on 47.0% shooting including 41.3% on 3-pointers and 4.5 rebounds in 29 minutes. He was chosen by the Blois staff for his athletic qualities, skill, aggressiveness and versatility.
Julien Monclar, manager of Blois: “Keandre has all the qualities we are looking for in the position, he can be effective offensively on several registers, in particular with interesting percentages. Defensively, we expect him to oppose on three positions. His qualities are obviously very complementary to those of Tim (Vergiat)”.
